Twice a distinguished alumnus of Southern Methodist University in college and in seminary; a preacher in his native state of Missouri but primarily in Texas for over thirty years and now Bishop of the Methodist Church in Arkansas; outstanding pastor of one of Methodism's largest churches when elected to the episcopacy, he continues his high level of service to the Church.
